Mainsforth Community Centre was constructed in the year 1927. Tragically, during its construction phase, a builder met his demise on-site. The centre has embraced various roles over the years, including serving as a theater, a repository for books, and a refuge during the turmoil of the Second World War. In recent times, it has garnered significant attention for its supernatural occurrences.
This is one of the places I love the most! As soon as you walk through the door, the atmosphere changes instantly. The interior has a unusual aura, like there are invisible eyes staring at you from the shadows. Inside these walls we have heard unexplained noises, seen invisible shadows, heard sudden loud noises and we have heard rhythmic footsteps. It is an exciting environment for a ghost investigation.
Remember to bring an air bed and a sleeping bag! If we get any sleep…👻
